CBD, or Cannabidiol, is one of the most common cannabinoids found in cannabis and hemp plants. Cannabinoids are naturally occurring chemical compounds which interact with our body’s own cannabinoid receptors. As well as CBD, there are hundreds of other cannabinoids in these plants - the most well-known being CBD, THC, CBN, CBG, and CBC.

CBD interacts with the cannabinoid receptors found in our body’s Endocannabinoid System (ECS). Our ECS plays a key role in shaping how we feel and experience life every day, and it does this by balancing our endocannabinoid levels. CBD gives our ECS a helping hand to achieve this balance.

Although they are the two most common cannabinoids found in hemp plants, CBD and THC are very different. THC is psychoactive so when it reacts with our cannabinoid receptors it causes a ‘high’ – the ‘stoned’ feeling that cannabis is known for. CBD is a non-pyschoactive cannabinoid.

Aire CBD oils are THC-free, so there is no risk of any unwanted psychoactive side-effects or of your CBD use showing up in a drugs test.

Terpenes are organic compounds that occur naturally in plant oils, and hemp and cannabis plants have concentrated levels of them. When added to CBD oil, terpenes help deliver the ‘entourage effect’ which means they help your body gets the most benefit possible from the CBD.

We offer three different strengths… 5% containing 500mg of CBD, 10% containing 1000mg of CBD and 15% containing 1500mg. If you’re new to CBD, we’d always recommend starting low and see how you get on.

Our CBD oils are all 100% hemp-based, with absolutely nothing else added. We carefully blend premium-grade CBD with hemp terpenes and refined hemp seed oil.

All our products are grown and then subsequently manufactured in the Netherlands.

Yes, our CBD oils only contains ingredients from the hemp plant. Nothing else is used.

Although we don’t actively test for these ingredients, none are used in the manufacture of our oils. We only ever use one ingredient in our oils – each is 100% hemp-based with nothing else added.

Our products have a shelf life of 2 years from when they are bottled and sealed. A best before sticker will be included on the inside of the carton so you know when this is. Once opened we would recommend using the oil within 6 months.

Being thoughtful about sustainability is in our DNA. Whenever we can, wherever we can, we carefully pick ingredients that are organic and cultivated using sustainable farming practices and fair labor standards.

We believe that using an oil dropper is the simplest and most effective way to take CBD. Just place a few drops under your tongue, hold for a few seconds and then swallow. Job done.

People take CBD for lots of different reasons. We’re not able to make specific claims about the benefits, but overall we believe CBD should be used as part of an overall healthy lifestyle to help support your physical and mental wellbeing.

Everyone’s endocannabinoid system is different so there are no hard and fast rules about which will be right for you. If you’re just starting out, we’d suggest starting on a lower strength oil, such as our 005, and taking drops 2 or 3 times per day. After a couple of days you’ll know the effective its having and if you need to increase the amount you’re using.

This can depend on a lot of factors; how big you are, when you last ate and how experienced you are with CBD. To get started, we recommend 2-3 drops in the morning, 2-3 drops in the afternoon and then again just before going to bed. These are only guidelines though. Taken as a food supplement, the maximum adult daily dosage guidelines for CBD is 70mg per day.

Store it upright in a cool dark place with the lid tightened. As an oil it can tend to make a bit of slippery mess if it gets spilled.

That really depends on how much you take but we see typically our bottles lasting between 3 - 6 weeks. If you feel like you’re getting through your oil too quickly, we’d suggest ordering a higher strength and taking a little less each time.

Yes. Our CBD oils don’t contain any THC so are not psychoactive or intoxicating in any way.

Some countries are absolutely fine. But not all are, so recommend finding out the local laws in the country you are travelling to before packing your CBD oil.

No it won’t because our products don’t contain any THC (the cannabinoid responsible for the ‘high’ cannabis feeling). So, if you have job that involves regular drug tests then Aire is perfect for you.

Absolutely not. We never have and never will.

If your package is marked as ‘delivered’ but you can’t find it, we suggest waiting 24 hours to ensure the driver doesn’t make another attempt and/or leave a note the following day. Please contact us at hello@airecbd.com if this time has passed.

If your order is shipping to an incorrect address, please attempt to change the delivery address by using the Royal Mail website and your shipping ID.

Yes, all our products are legal for sale within the UK and EU (except Germany, Denmark, Slovakia, Malta & Finland) due to the fact that our oils are derived from EU certified cannabis/hemp and sold as a food supplement. Local laws change all the time though, so it always pays to check local legislation before you buy.

Within Europe, only Germany, Denmark, Slovakia, Malta & Finland doesn’t allow the sale of CBD derived products. In the US CBD is legal Federally and in every State providing they are hemp-derived products, and our little bottles are all hemp.
